Happy Sunday, folks!
It’s week two of this gorgeous weather, and I’ve been loving the little rituals people - including myself - have been doing to honor it. Scrolling through social media has actually been really nice lately as I see people that I know going on walks, running, cycling, or just soaking up the sun and admiring the flowers, the people, and everything around them.
Living seasonally is something I’m striving to emulate in my life—to honor and reflect on each season, and to accept that, as the seasons change, your approach to daily life shifts with them. So while Winter is all about resting and hibernating (and maybe, even retreating or pulling away), Spring (for me) feels like waking up.
And (slowly) wake up, I did.
In saying that, here’s another list of °˖glimmers˖° from me for this week:

✧˖° A forest walk with the gang (16 people!) and a return to a place that I hold dearly in my heart: Tollymore Forest Park. Forest bathing in glittery eyeshadows. Sparking eyeshadow, full stop.
✧˖° Morning walk in the sun and visiting my faves during my lunch break: Ormeau Park, Indie Fude, Bread & Banjo Bakery, and of course, Phin.
✧˖° My favorite (or, at least, one of my favorite) cheese(s) finally back in stock: St Tola Summer Gold with Garden Herbs. (I usually get it from Indie Fude.)
✧˖° Stocking up on this week’s bread, and the sweetest surprise was the Chocolate Tahini Square from Bread and Banjo Bakery. Obsessed!
✧˖° Lovely after-work ritual because of the weather: getting a smoothie, sitting on a park bench facing the sun, and reading or people-watching. It was fun while it lasted.
✧˖° A late bus that saved (a late) me from a 20-minute walk to another stop. Sometimes, things just work out.
✧˖° My red Mary Janes from VIVAIA arrived! They are so comfy and always bring a pop of color in my outfit. I am in love with them! ❤️
✧˖° Getting an ‘expert’ level in my preliminary results for one of the subjects I’ve been studying for a certification exam.
✧˖° A cocktail-making class for this week’s work socials. I made a classic mojito, an espresso martini (a favorite of mine), and a pornstar martini. I also had a couple of other drinks, that included a strawberry daquiri and a coconut margarita. Safe to say I was buzzed: just the perfect amount of looseness to enjoy the night. Sometimes, I like this breezy version of myself.
✧˖° Loveliest rooftop yoga (my first time!) at Studio 52 to celebrate the last day of this sunny streak in Belfast. This weather is such a big deal here that you just have to mark a special occasion like this (apparently, it was the warmest April/Spring in a while). I love how the whole city just stops what it's doing to head out and soak up the sun. The city felt so alive. 🏙️
✧˖° The most magical feeling of being present on the mat. Eyes closed, the warmth of the sun showering me, the sound of seagulls soaring overhead, the occasional gust of chilly wind. The gentle swell of music blending with the hum of the city—it almost felt so far away. And that moment when I opened my eyes: clear blue sky, with a hint of gold from the setting sun. A cluster of birds occasionally flying by. It was just such a grounding feeling. I wanted to commit it to memory. ✨

I loved reading this so much! 🥹
I've been wanting to learn about living seasonally too, as I stumbled upon the topic while researching about books in my local library. Morning walk in the sun is the best!! It just feels so different, I feel happier. Rooftop yoga sounds amazing! I love your writing, it feels like I'm catching up with my friend. Followed!
